Every newspaper has by now learnt the importance of social media. With every story you get the mandatory share buttons for all the different sites. Perhaps they should use it with care though, especially Facebook’s “Like” function. It’s perhaps not a good idea to add that as default on every article. Here’s a tip I’m offering for free:

Add a check box for manually adding the Like button to your articles when they are published.

Unless of course, you want people to add a thumbs up and like “Homeless man set on fire“.
